Prof KFVResearch Methods and Super Tuesday This semester my students are in two sections of a research methods course in the Political Science Department. Over the last two weeks we have been using polling data from Super Tuesday and exit polling after Super Tuesday to test some hypotheses (and reliability of polling and exit polling) and create some homemade data visualizations. We used data from California, Texas, and Massachusetts along with data on African-American and Latinx likely voters to make predictions about Super Tuesday and then the exit polling to examine how well the polls predicted the primaries.
